Host a House Party to Support the Harris/Walz Ticket!
Who can host a watch party? Anyone! The All in for Harris/Walz House Parties toolkit is designed to be helpful to individuals, Indivisible groups, or All in for Harris Action Teams. It doesn’t matter if you’re a seasoned activist or getting involved for the first time. You can do this.
While this toolkit can be applied to any house party throughout the election cycle, we encourage you to host a party during the DNC Convention (August 19 - 22) to celebrate the official nomination of Kamala Harris and Tim Walz!
From Your House to the White House
By hosting a watch party, you'll be able to share your passion and enthusiasm with others, and maybe even inspire some first-time activists to join the cause. It's a chance to create a space where people can come together, have fun, and feel like they're a part of something bigger. Plus, you'll have access to resources and reimbursements for your basic party supplies, so you can focus on making the event special without breaking the bank.
Hosting your house party at home, in your backyard, or at a local restaurant is a great way to connect with your local activists and build grassroots power to elect Kamala Harris and Tim Walz! Just make sure you have a way to watch the convention (TV or Streaming) and permission or permits if they are required. Once you register your event, you will immediately receive an email asking you to confirm it. After you register and confirm your event, folks will be able to RSVP for your party.
Hosting a party is not just about watching the speeches—it's about connecting, planning, and energizing each other for the work ahead.
